About Action Autism
Action Autism is a 501(c)(3) youth-led nonprofit founded in 2024 by two high school students who witnessed firsthand the lack of awareness, inclusion, and resources available to individuals with autism — in schools, in the media, and across society.
After seeing students, kids, and people with autism face barriers, stigma, and discrimination they launched Action Autism to spark change from the ground up.
Action Autism is driven by the belief that every neurodivergent individual deserves to feel seen, supported, and empowered. Our mission is to break the stigmas surrounding autism through education, storytelling, and advocacy — and to create accessible, meaningful resources for students with autism.
From producing inclusive educational tools and hosting a podcast that amplifies neurodivergent voices, to authoring children’s books and launching awareness campaigns on social media, Action Autism is working to redefine how society understands and supports the autistic community.
