Our book, Embracing Differences, celebrates the beauty of diversity by helping children understand that everyone thinks, feels, and learns in their own unique way. Following the eyes of 2 students--one with Autism , it encourages empathy, kindness, and acceptance.

The Action Autism App was created and developed by Arshia and Anvesha and is designed to support neurodivergent students through interactive tools and educational resources. The app has special features including a mood tracker, sensory-friendly activity suggestions, customizable visual schedules, and a resource library for parents, teachers, and peers.
We have been working on this app since August of 2024, conducting our own research on the most effective tools for neurodivergent students, testing the tools for maximum learning and communication, and developing our own AI voice recognition software and mood tracking.
Our app will be published later in the App Store this year.
Action Autism is currently lobbying for our own bill proposal that advocates for the implementation of sensory-friendly lighting in schools to create a more inclusive learning environment for students with autism and sensory sensitivities.
After interviewing over 12+ parents of students with Autism and special education teachers, the effects of harsh fluorescent lights such as discomfort, anxiety, and difficulty concentrating was brought to Action Autism's attention. After consulting with professionals and collecting data from surveys we came up with a solution to battle the negative effects that fluorescent lights cause on students with Autism in schools— sensory friendly lighting.
This legislation (proposed and created by Arshia Singh and Anvesha Bhagat) aims to promote equity in education by ensuring all students can learn in a setting that supports their needs.
Currently it is sitting on the docket waiting to be backed in CA, NC, MI, MD, and NJ, to support the bill sign the petition below!
